As requested i have made a second Pokemon top ten but what has changed? where will your favourite end up? watch the whole video now to find out!
You may notice some mistakes whilst watching if you do just ignore them i have found two already, here they are:
It was used incorrectly and should have been its when pokemon ranger shadows of almia was been revealed of its spot on the top ten. and
Pokemon emerald lacks a bad point if you wish to know i wouldn’t have put anything bad any way because as i have already stated in the good point its may favourite pokemon game so far.
Just a little note this video is NOT including console pokemon games so please dont comment asking why certain console games haven’t made it into the countdown!
Another Pokemon Game that would have never made the list was Pokemon Green Version, This version was only released in Japan and as such i have not put my opinion on it as i have never played it.
Pokemon Platinum Has NOT been included in the countdown due to it not being released in english at the time this video was uploaded, since it has just been released in america and i am waiting to recieve mine i still can judge the game yet. But i will as soon as i have played throught it.
I have now Played Pokemon Platinum Version for some time and i am enjoying it alot, It is a great improvment over Pokemon Diamond and Pearl and would rank High in my list if i ever make a third Version of “The top ten Pokemon Games.”
The newly announced Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver have a high standard to meet, Will they be as good as the originals? Or will they leave us thinking they should have just left the best alone? Well only time can tell, but im certain Nintendo will make it just as and maybe better than the originals! Nintendo have now officialy announced that Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver will be hitting Japanese stores on September 12th for 4800 yen. This means once again the u.s will be looking at a spring release around April/May whilst the u.k will wait later untill summer time (June/July).

Update (3/7/09) – Pokemon Mystery dungeon: Explorers of the sky has now got a release date for america! The release date is set to be october 1st 2009! The game retails for $34.99 and is available for pre-order!

Well obviously your list will differ from mine because your opinion is not going to be the same. And games such as ruby and sapphire don’t have enough of a difference between them to make one better than the other they are exactly the same games except a few pokemon. Also, another problem with this video is that series of games, such as ruby and sapphire, took spots together, which, imo is strange, since pokemon games can be rated on which pokemon are version exclusive.
to top it off, your list is a typical top 10 list, with my agreeing here and there, but i have to disagree some places too, like on the fact that number one should be red and blue versions

the ranger games, mystery dungeon, imo, should not be on this list. they totally abandoned the original point of pokemon and were, al-in-all, just a way to promote special episodes of the television series, which was a wate on nintendo’s part. if the ranger games had not come packed with downloadable legendary pokemon for the actual color series of games, they probobly hadn’t gone off.

Gold/silver has more features than any other pokemon game. But kanto was pretty lifeless and it was a shame most of the events from Red/blue were ‘closed’. Ik was really suprised when I saw Koga in the elite four though.

Original Red and Blue FTW, can’t beat the originals. Johto is just the waste from Kanto, like the New Jersey of Pokemon. The only good thing about it is Lugia.

when he says gold and silver think that he is saying the second generation (because that includes crystal) by the way you dont pick on silver its the best in the series! and besides crystal didnt feel right, it had a weird feeling i just cant explain to it, and the animations creeped me out as an 8 year old, i dont no why i just had more fun playing silver and gold, and i gave no idea why but if i had a choice of crystal or blue even though crystal has more pokemon i’d have to go with blue
