Nintendo has officially announced the successor to the Nintendo DS. It will feature 3D game-play without the need for glasses. It is also expected to feature backwards compatibility with Nintendo DS and DSi games. Its also said to have rumble capabilities and a built-in accelerometer. It will also include a control stick. I like control sticks. :] It is expected to be released IN JAPAN within the next fiscal year, which is between April 2010 and March 2011. There is no word about the release of this outside of Japan, as most countries will shortly be receiving the Nintendo DSi XL. I cant wait! Comment, rate, subscribe, and enjoy! Nintendo has always been really good when it comes to prices. The DS launched at $149.99, while the PSP launched at $249.99. Nintendo launched a same-gen system at $100 less. It took them a while to take full advantage of the DS’s capabilities, but they did. I can’t wait!

Everyone said that motion control would never catch on. They also said they don’t want games that are only playable on a touch screen. Look at what has become of The Wii and DS now. I think Nintendo knows what they’re doing. You’re not going to get another Virtual Boy. It’s best to wait for more to be revealed before we go out and say that you’re not going to buy it.
